  • Task 1:Create GoogleApps@IEEE account

    GoogleApps@IEEE provides numerous opportunities to IEEE volunteers by rendering them a robust capability for messaging with access to a unique IEEE email address, Google Drive, calendar, and contact services. It offers great privacy and credibility to the user. The participants are expected to create an account in GoogleApps@IEEE and submit their IEEE mail-id along with the screenshot of the account via the Google Form provided.

  • Task 2:Create a LinkedIn profile and share your profile ID.

    Creating a LinkedIn profile is the most effective and fastest professional means of networking that offers daily opportunities. LinkedIn is the platform connecting new people with their professional designations. The participants are expected to create a LinkedIn profile and build a network with at least 20 connections. Afterwards, they must share the URL of their profile via Google Form.

  • Task 3:Make five connections in IEEE Collabratec

    IEEE Collabratec is an integrated online community where technology professionals can network, collaborate and create in one central hub. Sign-up is free for everyone and it offers a suite of productive tools with exclusive features for IEEE members. To redeem points for this task, members have to create an account in IEEE Collabratec and establish 5 connections on the same. The participants are expected to upload the screenshot containing proof of completion of the task via the Google Form provided.

  • Task 4:Make five connections in IEEE Collabratec

    IEEE is involved in the technical programme development of numerous events including conferences, virtual events, training, workshops, and job fairs. The participants are expected to register and attend any IEEE Conference or Webinar. Only events from March 2022 will be taken into consideration. Each participant will score 3 points for registering and 10 points for attending each event. The screenshot of the registration confirmation mail and one taken while attending the event in which the date and name of the event have to be mentioned and must be shared through the Google form given below.   • Task 5:Present your volunteering certificates

    Volunteering is an opportunity to try something new. It can help you make friends, learn new skills, build confidence, advance your career and develop a sense of purpose. The participants are expected to present their volunteering certificates for which they have volunteered at an IEEE event. The copy of your certificates is to be shared in the google form provided. If you are currently volunteering for an event then upload the necessary proof. Events from March 2022 will only be considered.

  • Task 6:Join any IEEE online Communities

    Communities in IEEE Collabratec are large forums for sharing and discussing trending technology topics, IEEE Societies, or IEEE aligned entities. Participants are expected to join any of the 5 IEEE's online communities in collabratec and you will get the exclusive access to a global network of 250,000+ IEEE and Society members. submit the screenshot of your details along with the Google form provided.  

  • Task 7:Explore something new

    IEEE Xplore Library is a powerful resource tool for the discovery of scientific and technical content published by the IEEE. For an engineer, it is one of the best resources to keep up to date with technical information. In this task, the participants are required to visit the IEEE Xplore Library and read any of the IEEE papers published. Afterward, the members should submit a pdf file containing an abstract based on the content they have read.  

  • Task 8:Plan an event from the vision and mission of any one of the IEEE Society

    The participants are expected to visit any one IEEE Society's website read through the vision and mission of each society, learn about it, and provide a brief plan idea to conduct an event. Participants are allowed to expand their creative vision and come up with ideas related to the chosen mission. A brief description on your intended event and it's execution plan is to be drafted and submitted in the Google form.  

  • Task 9:Explore the IEEE spectrum.

    IEEE Spectrum is the flagship publication of the IEEE, and explores the development, applications, and implications of new technologies. In this task, the participants are expected to look through the IEEE Spectrum magazine and make a podcast based on their interests. Submit the podcast via the Google form provided.  

  • Task 10:Best one out

    IEEE SB CEC has made numerous contributions to its student community that have received widespread recognition across the globe. In this task, the participants are expected to visit our college site, IEEE SB CEC, and go through the timeline. It encompasses the details of lots of events in our SB hosted. Select the best timeline that attracts you and give a brief description of the same  

  • Task 11:Add an IEEE Council membership to the cart

    IEEE Technical Councils give you the chance to collaborate on research and projects, network with peers, and stay technically up to date. In this task, the participants are expected to add any IEEE Council membership to their cart and submit a screenshot of the cart via the Google form provided. The participant doesn't necessarily have to complete the payment.  

  • Task 12: Create your Resume

    Creating a Resume will aid your transition into the professional world. A resume is a formal document that serves to show a person's career background and skills. A college student's resume focuses on relevant coursework, extracurricular activities, internships, and skill set. The participants are expected to create a resume using IEEE Resume Template and share the pdf file in the Google form provided.  

  • Task 13:Attend any IEEE event

    Attending an event provides knowledge, ideas, and awareness. It also allows us to expand our network by meeting new friends and developing professional connections. Participants are requested to register and attend any IEEE event at the College/Hub/Section level. Submit the certificate or any other proof of the attended event. Otherwise, submit your proof of event registration along with the Google form provided. 5 points will be awarded for registering and 10 points for participating in any events. Events from March 2022 will only be considered.  

  • Task 14: Follow the IEEE SB CEC social media pages

    To redeem points for this task, the members have to follow the IEEE SB CEC page on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn, and provide three screenshots of having done the same in the google form presented to them. Student members who do not own any one or two of these accounts must follow the page with whatever available account they possess.
